Sangat disayangkan situs situs peserta kontes “ngadutrafik 2007″ kena banned dari wordpress.

- the Content does not contain or install any viruses, worms, malware, Trojan horses or other harmful or destructive content;
- the Content is not spam, and does not contain unethical or unwanted commercial content designed to drive traffic to third party sites or boost the search engine rankings of third party sites, or to further unlawful acts (such as phishing) or mislead recipients as to the source of the material (such as spoofing);
- the Content is not obscene, libelous, hateful or racially or ethnically objectionable, and does not violate the privacy or publicity rights of any third party; and
- you have, in the case of Content that includes computer code, accurately categorized and/or described the type, nature, uses and effects of the materials, whether requested to do so by Automattic or otherwise.
Dapat dimaklumi, kontes seperti ini baru sekali mendapat respon seramai ini, dan saya juga sedikit kaget karena kontesnya sangat cepat bergulir yang menjatuhkan pilihan kepada hosting gratisan wordpress.
Buat para peserta, jangan saling menyalahkan seandainya bener kasus ini karena laporan seseorang. Sebaiknya dibikin peraturan yang jelas dan memperhatikan policy dari Hostingan kita, Search Engine, Technorati dan sejenisnya… Sebelum meluncur melakukan kontes.

Wuaduh, kasihan juga ya mas. Padahal niat kontes itu kan bagus. Soal pro-kontra ya namanya juga suatu pilihan.
Saya saja sempat bikin posting lebih karena ingin mengukur kwalitas Serendipity dan ini buat saya positif. Jika ya benar atas laporan fraud seseorang, sayang banget ya…

Dilaporkan atau tidak dilaporkan oleh seseorang bukanlah konteksnya. Mungkin Wordpress melihatnya sebagai wasting resources karena peserta membuat blog yang hanya untuk jangka waktu yang pendek dan kemudian dibuang begitu saja.
Juga ada abuse nama blog, semua berlomba membuat URI blog mengandung kata ngadutrafik.

Abuse ngadutrafik ya mas… 
saya sudah sempet kawatir melihat perkembangan awalnya.. ada yang bikin lebih dari 3 biji.
padahal jelas2 ngelanggar policy nya wp.
Mungkin kita pula kalo punya gratisan ga mau dibuat gituan
Saya sempet buat satu, ikutngadutrafik2007..wordpress.com.
Ga nyepam, 1 posting kopian, bahkan akses cuma lima kali.
Kena banned juga.

punyaku di WP g di ban tuh, n emg g komen2 , males komen, males ngomong, takut salah ngmg di blog org
… cuma ngeping sono ngeping sini, ngetag ama submit url, trus nambahin content… udah gt aja, n alhamdulillah g disuspensed…

menurut saya sangat wajar jika wordpress menSUSPENDkan ngautrafik, karena bisa2 WP banjir dengan user yang ingin ngautrafik 2007.
